N & K Marine’s 2026 price list uses boat-type and length tiers and excludes mobile service. Detailed inclusions are not listed. J3 Marine’s seasonal schedule includes vents and mildew bags in its wrap starting prices. Forest View’s form has no stated rate season. Confirm minimums, taxes and final scope with the supplier.
Use the supplier’s billable measurement, not automatically the model name or hull length. Barker’s Island Marina’s 2025–26 rate sheet measures a wrap path over the boat’s structure. That previous-season document explains a billing method; it is not verified pricing for 2026–27.
Ask whether rails, a cabin, tower, bow pulpit or swim platform affect the measurement. Do not use one yard’s length method with another yard’s rate.

Start with storage conditions: outdoors or indoors, expected exposure, whether you can inspect the boat, and the facility’s cover requirements. Then compare cost. A reusable cover needs suitable fit, support and ventilation; an inexpensive cover that does not suit the storage arrangement is not a useful saving.
The BoatUS Foundation’s winter-cover comparison was published in September 2022 after Maryland winter testing in 2021–22. It informs the suitability questions here; its historical product prices are not current quotes.
The tool multiplies your entered annual wrap subtotal by the ownership period. For a reusable cover it adds the purchase price, any replacements at your assumed interval, one-time setup, and recurring installation, removal or care costs.
For example, using hypothetical inputs, $500 of annual wrapping costs $2,500 over five years. A $900 cover, $100 one-time support cost and $80 annual care cost total $1,400 if no replacement is needed within those five years. A three-year replacement assumption adds another $900, bringing the cover scenario to $2,300. Those amounts are arithmetic examples, not market prices or a lifespan guarantee.
A wrap or cover does not replace engine or plumbing preparation. Carry your covering subtotal into the winterization budget and confirm that your storage arrangement allows the option you choose.
